漫谈学象棋的体会
这是一篇原生态的漫谈学象棋的文章，作者为山东已故象棋名宿陈天才[1909——1990年]，他无缘于网络时代，否则他对网络对弈不知要发表多少感慨，笔者曾同陈学过下象棋。 吾从年幼时，即爱好象棋。下起棋来，往往废寝忘食。尤其与强手对弈，真有“初生牛犊不怕虎”的勇气，敢于搏斗到底。这样虽然当时敌不过强手，但他的许多绝招却被我学会，而且自己钻研出各种克敌制胜的解数，加以变化后，使其成为自己的本领。 在旧社会中，没有什么“象棋俱乐部”，更无什么“文化宫”，只能在茶余饭后，蹲在墙角边与树荫下，举行“比赛”。尽管这样，观众还是围得水泄不通，许多人为我们助威。特别那时我是一个小孩子，人们为我的毅力而赞叹，这样就促使我不断进步。现在我虽年届古稀，但仍一如既往，对象棋颇感兴趣。 这些年来，对于学习象棋，我有以下几点体会：第一，要认真学习和钻研一些“象棋谱”，使古人的经验中的精华，变为自己能掌握的战术。第二，要多向名手们请教，古时候叫做“寻师”、“访友”。这样的好处是可以“取人之长，补己之短”，同时也起到互相学习、互相交流的作用。第三，要多开动脑筋思考。因为下棋是动脑筋的事，这就要善于分析、判断，同时还要懂点“心理学”，平日的交锋中，要锻炼出一套善于猜测对方心理的本领。古时兵书上叫做“知己知彼，百战不殆”。 一盘棋，总要分为开局、中局与残局三个阶段，这三个阶段是紧密相联，不可偏废一方的。 分三个阶段来练棋，是初学者的正规进程。练棋也正如学数学一样，是由浅入深，逐步提高的。象棋的战法和打仗有点相同，也是讲究战略、战术的。一般来说，棋艺的提高，并不是单纯靠向名手们学上几套走法，就可以所向无敌了。不管遇上谁，老用那几套，下棋不是学木匠，做一张桌子，都是四条腿。下棋就是“斗智”，是千变万化的技艺，因为双方的子数相同，开始时阵势也相同，胜负的决定，全靠双方的着数与是否占先，是否得当。譬如说，用当头炮开局，是直取中路的硬攻战法。当头炮好比猛烈的“炮火”，利于速战速决。若是打不开局面，行动迟缓，士相都无主，后方一旦空虚，必然被对方乘虚而入，而遭到威胁。“屏风马”好比 “两刀子”，有时又象“轻骑兵”，利于两肋出兵，迂回包围，有点属于“游击战术”，这是一种“先守后攻”，“以柔克刚”的战术。它可以从两侧迅速切入，最后以短兵相接，直接闯入禁区而致 “敌”于死命。 下棋要善于瞅准对方的弱点，要善于分析对方的意图。有“佯攻”，也有“硬攻”，有“埋伏”，也有“陷阱”。“出其不意、乘其不备”，才能出奇制胜。逢上对手，先要看清是性子急的，还是性子缓的。对不同性格的人，要区别对待。比方说张三性急使炮使得好，就要好好防守中路和后方，并要设法破坏其“杀伤力”，使 “炮”的作用难以发挥。李四性缓善用“马”，那就要以卒制马，或阻止马的前进和盘旋，使其无法“踏营”。总之，要针对具体情况而随机应变，要想出克制对方的招数，处处夺先，使对方处于被动地位。再一点，平日要锻炼出“一眼看下三步棋”的本领，甚至四步、五步。只有这样，才可高瞻远瞩，居高临下，胸有成竹地去战胜对方。 开局是全盘棋的基础，中局是决定胜负的关键，残局是比赛机智、沉着与毅力的最后关头。中局要多保卒；残局要抢占中路，跳马不离四六步，才是“挂角”“卧槽”之捷径。 走每一着棋，必须深思熟虑，切不可贪吃而失先。我们在“棋谱”中常见的“弃车夺帅”的战术，这就叫“出奇致胜”的战术。 象棋的胜负并不决定于子多子少，而在于是否有致胜的“杀机”。下象棋应以攻为主，就是要主动出击，不要“闭关自守”，但在攻的同时，一定要巩固好后方，既考虑自己如何进攻，也要看清对方想怎样进攻。在足以抵御对方的前提下，然后再以凌厉的进攻去战胜对方，才是稳健的着法。 初学棋艺者，往往犯急于求成的通病（我少年时也不例外）。下起棋来，在一旦失利受挫后，就会心慌意乱，而失掉信心，结果多数被对方击败。在对弈中，必须要有勇气和信心。要沉着、冷静，不失一个“战机”，遇到强手，要毫不胆怯，要发挥勇往直前的精神。因为一胆怯，什么招数也想不出来了，只有处处“挨打”。这样是不行的。古时候打仗，“以弱胜强”、“以少胜多”的战例并不少。 另一点要劝青年棋友注意的是，当你占先的时候，千万不要骄傲。初学棋艺者，容易一时得利就得意洋洋，忘乎所以了。这时容易掉以轻心，而疏忽大意，造成了不应有的失利。 我把自己学习象棋的一些体会写了出来。供初学棋艺的棋友们参考，并希望能起到“抛砖引玉”的作用。

ImageMagick provides a suite of command-line utilities for creating, converting, editing, and displaying images:
display is a machine architecture independent image processing and display facility. It can display an image on any workstation display running an X server.
import reads an image from any visible window on an X server and outputs it as an image file. You can capture a single window, the entire screen, or any rectangular portion of the screen.
montage creates a composite by combining several separate images. The images are tiled on the composite image with the name of the image optionally appearing just below the individual tile.
convert converts an input file using one image format to an output file with the same or differing image format while applying an arbitrary number of image transformations.
mogrify transforms an image or a sequence of images. These transforms include image scaling, image rotation, color reduction, and others. The transmogrified image overwrites the original image.
identify describes the format and characteristics of one or more image files. It will also report if an image is incomplete or corrupt.
composite composites images (blends or merges images together) to create new images.
compare compare an image to a reconstructed image.
conjure interprets and executes scripts in the Magick Scripting Language (MSL).
It supports 90 image formats, including .tiff, .jpg, .png, .xpm, .ppm, .gif, .ps.

Observation Pattern
Publishers + Subscribers = Observer Pattern
How newspaper or magazine subscription work:
1. A newspaper publisher goes into business and begins publishing newspapers.
2. You subscribe to a particular publisher and every time there's a new edition it gets delivered to you.
3. You unsubscribe when you don't want papers anymore, and they stop being delivered.
4. While the publisher remains in business, people,... constantly subscribe and unsubscribe to the newspaper.
The Observer Pattern defines a one-to-many dependency between objects so that when one object changes state, all of its dependents are notified and updated automatically.
When two objects are loose coupled, they interact with each other, but they have very little knowledge about each other.

Read Sheng Shu's Webpage and have some ideas
